LIUDMILA KONOVALOVA

WIENER STAATOPER

Liudmila Konovalova was born in Moscow (Russia). She graduated from the Moscow Bolshoi Ballet Academy and entered the Russian State Ballet in 2002. In 2004 she was named First Soloist and danced the main roles in "Giselle", "Don Quixote", "Schwanensee", "Dornröschen", " Der Nussknacker ". , "Danza delle ore" and "Paquita".

In 2007 she joined the Staatsballett in Berlin and in 2009 she was nominated soloist. In Berlin he played the main roles in "Dornröschen" by Vladimir Malakhov, "Schwanensee" by Patrice Bart and "Der Nussknacker", "Scheherezade" (Fokin) and Pierre Lacotte "La Vivandière" and "Concerto per violino" by Clark Tippet ( Max Bruch Nr. 1) and other main roles in "Giselle" and "Das flammende Herz" by Patrice Bart, "Cinderella" by Vladimir Malakhov and "La Péri", "Paquita" "(Petipa)," Flower Festival in Genzano "(Bournonville) and" Sylvia "by Frederick Ashton.

In 2010 he joined the Wiener Staatsballett as a soloist and was promoted to First Soloist in 2011.
She appeared as a guest dancer in many European countries and overseas. During the 2013/14 season, she joined the ballet of the Opera National de Bordeaux, the Slovenské národné divadlo, the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma and the Toyko Ballet as solo guest.

He received a diploma for his participation in the Red Cross Gala in Italy and for the Nureyev Festival in Russia.

During the 2014/2015 season she appeared as solo guest in Vicenza, at the Nureyev festivals of Ufa and Kasan, in "Swan Lake" at the Opéra National de Bordeaux, at the World Ballet Festival in Tokyo (August 2015) and at Kreml Palast Moscow ( 21 September 2015) In March 2016 (London Coliseum) had the honor of taking part in the Ace Maya Gala in memory of Maya Plisetskaya, for the production of DVDs of "Der Nussknacker" in the choreography of Rudolf Nureyev danced the main role of Clara.
Prizes and awards: 3rd place in the "Young Russian Ballet" competition in Krasnodar (2004), Serge Lifar Ballet Competition special prize in Kiev (2006), 2nd place at the KIBC International Dance Competition in Seoul, 1st place in the ÖTR -Contest in Vienna and in the "Premio Roma" dance competition in 2007, Premio Capri Danza International (2018).
